Stuff yourself with organic produce. It's good for you and wildlife. By switching to organic products you have a huge impact along the production chain. For a start, no pesticides will have been sprayed which means the bees (an other insects) are safe -and the animals that eat those insects further up the food chain. The soil will have been cared for rather than degraded. The farmland rivers won't have been contaminated with nitrogen enriched water from the artificially fertilised fields. Did you know that artificial fertilisers are made from natural gas and pesticides from oil? So it may impact your wallet. Even if your budget is tight you might be able to switch to some organic products, at least investigate the possibilities...
Do organic drinks have artificial sweeteners in?
No. Under EU regulations all artificial colourings and sweeteners are banned in organic food.
Natural vs Organic
When it comes to labelling, "natural" is not the same as "organic". "Organic" is a regulated term that has a whole set of rules behind it. "Natural" on the other hand could mean anything.
