Terms of Trading

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
(a) World Changing Me CIC shall not be liable in contract, tort, breach of statutory duty or otherwise for any loss (consequential or otherwise), injury, destruction or damage arising out of or in connection with the supply of Goods or services by World Changing Me CIC.
(b) If for any reason the provisions of Condition 4(a) are of no effect in respect of a claim against World Changing Me CIC, World Changing Me CIC’s liability in respect of that claim shall in no event exceed the price paid for the relevant Goods or services by the Purchaser.
(c) World Changing Me CIC shall not be liable for transportation and shipping costs associated with the return of products from either under warranty or otherwise unless the aforementioned return of products is due entirely to World Changing Me CIC’s failure to correctly fulfill the Purchaser’s order.
QUOTATIONS AND ACCEPTANCE
(a) Quotations represent no obligation to accept the Purchaser’s order, and are valid for thirty (30) days, or while stocks last.
(b) Price lists issued by World Changing Me CIC do not constitute a formal quotation and are subject to change without notice.
TITLE AND RISK
(a) Legal title to the Goods shall remain with World Changing Me CIC until such time as World Changing Me CIC has received payment for the price of the Goods supplied by World Changing Me CIC to the Purchaser, whereupon Title shall pass to the Purchaser. Insofar as Goods may be collected by or delivered to the Purchaser prior to the time when Title thereto passes to the Purchaser as aforesaid, the Purchaser shall, until such time hold the Goods as the fudiciary agent and bailee of World Changing Me CIC and shall remain liable to account to World Changing Me CIC for the Goods, or if the same shall be sold by the Purchaser (which the Purchaser shall be entitled to do as the fudiciary agent of World Changing Me CIC) for all the proceeds thereof without limitation.
(b) Notwithstanding the retention by World Changing Me CIC of legal title to the Goods (i) Risk in Goods shall pass to the Purchaser upon collection by or delivery to the Purchaser, and (ii) World Changing Me CIC shall be entitled to maintain an action against the Purchaser for the price of the Goods or any part thereof.
World Changing Me CIC shall have a general lien in respect of all sums due from the Purchaser upon all Goods upon which work has been done on the Purchaser’s behalf.
DISTANCE SELLING REGULATIONS
If the Purchaser is buying as a ‘consumer’, as defined in The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, the Purchaser may, provided the Purchaser has taken reasonable care of the Goods, and returns the Goods complete, undamaged, and with their original packaging (including the World Changing Me CIC’s outer packaging), return the Goods and be repaid the price paid in respect of them within 14 working days (excluding Saturday and Sunday and any UK Bank Holiday) of their delivery. To return Goods on this basis, the Purchaser must notify World Changing Me CIC in writing and return the Goods, in their original packaging, within the 7 day period to “World Changing Me CIC“ to the Dispatch address quoting the order number or invoice number. The Purchaser is responsible for the payment of all postage or carriage costs. The Purchaser is responsible for the care and custody of the Goods pending return or collection. Following receipt of Goods which comply with our Returns guidance, World Changing Me CIC will refund to the Purchaser the price paid in respect of the Goods.
(a) This agreement shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
(a) The Purchaser means the individual or company with whom the sale or supply of products or services is conducted.
(b) Invoice means the source document of Sale provided by World Changing Me CIC to the Purchaser, listing the Goods supplied and price charged by World Changing Me CIC.
(c) New Goods does not include Second Hand products, reconditioned products, or products containing second hand parts.
(d) Second Hand Goods means products or parts that have been previously purchased by a consumer, or purchased other than as stock for re-sale.
(e) Reconditioned Goods means products or parts that have been repaired or re-assembled by either (i) The Manufacturer, or (ii) World Changing Me CIC, subsequent to the original time of manufacture or assembly.
ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
(a) All Goods and services supplied are deemed subject to sale in accordance with the above conditions, unless otherwise stated in writing.
(b) World Changing Me CIC’s terms and conditions shall apply to the entire exclusion of those of the Purchaser, and no variation thereof shall be binding unless accepted in writing by World Changing Me CIC.
Privacy and GDPR
1. Personable information we collect
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device.
Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:
- “Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.
- “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
- “Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.
Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment type (we hold no card numbers electronically or otherwise), email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information.”
Further to collecting customer information from orders, customer information may also be obtained from email and/or submitted contact forms.
2. How do we use your personal information?
We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfil any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:
- Communicate with you
- Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud
- Depending on preferences you have selected; provide information or advertising relating to our products or services.
- Forward your details to our delivery partners to fulfil an order.
- We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).
3. Sharing your personal information
We share your Personal Information with third parties, these parties are listed below. These third parties help us use the Personal Information for the reasons listed above.
3.1. Third Parties used by World Changing Me CIC

We may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
4. Behavioural advertising
As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a ‘Do Not Track’ signal from your browser.
5. Your rights in regards to GDPR
If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.
Additionally, if you are a European resident please note that we are processing your information in order to fulfil contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above.
Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States in order to fulfil contracts with customers.
5.1. Right to Erasure (‘Right to be forgotten’)
Under Article 17 of the GDPR individuals have the right to have their personal data erased. This is not an absolute right and only applies in certain circumstances.

6. Data Retention
We are required under UK tax law to keep your basic personal data (name, address, contact details) for a minimum of 6 years after which time it will be destroyed. The information we use for marketing purposes will be kept with us until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information.
This website is intended for everyone, however when you are researching information for some of the Quests we recommend children are supervised by adults.

Invite a Friend Referral Program
EFFECTIVE DATE: 14-August-2020
Thank you for participating in World Changing Me CIC’s Invite a Friend Referral Program (the “Program)! The Program allows users (the “Advocates”) to share an offer (“Offer”) by using a personalized link that Advocates share with their friends (the “Friends”). Subject to these Offer Terms, and as described below, Advocates and Friends will be able to obtain an online coupon code (“Reward”) that they can redeem with World Changing Me CIC.
By participating in the Program, you , as an Advocate or Friend, as the case may be (collectively, “You”), agree to enter into these Offer Terms with World Changing Me CIC.
Subject to these Offer Terms and any other terms described in the offer page, the personalised links that Advocates share with their Friends will allow their Friends to obtain Rewards that they can redeem when making their first purchase order with World Changing Me CIC (a “Qualifying Purchase”). A Qualifying Purchase may be subject to a minimum spend. When a Friend uses an active personalised link to make his or her Qualifying Purchase with World Changing Me CIC, the Advocate who referred that Friend will earn their own Reward that the Advocate can use for future purchases with World Changing Me CIC or, if applicable, at third-party retailers. To qualify for a Reward, the Friend must be a new customer to World Changing Me CIC, but there is no requirement that the Advocate be a new customer. Rewards ordinarily are distributed via email after the completion of a Qualifying Purchase and after approval by World Changing Me CIC, in its sole discretion. Advocates may not earn more than 30 Rewards in 30 days or more than 1000 Rewards in total. Advocates may earn only one (1) Reward per Friend, regardless of the number of purchases that his or her Friends make. Rewards cannot be combined with other discount codes in a single order. To receive multiple Rewards, Advocates must introduce multiple Friends who make a Qualifying Purchase using the Advocate’s active personalised referral link. An Advocate cannot refer him or herself to earn a Reward. When sharing Rewards, Advocates must tell their Friends that Advocates will receive a reward from World Changing Me CIC if they make their Qualifying Purchase using your personalised link. World Changing Me CIC, in its sole discretion, may impose limits on how many Offers may be shared by an Advocate, as well as how frequently those Offers can be made, and Rewards may not be given if those limits are exceeded.
World Changing Me CIC reserves the right to refuse to issue or redeem a Reward to Advocates or Friends at any time. Further, World Changing Me CIC reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to (i) vary any and all elements of an Offer at any time without notice to You and (ii) to prevent any individual from participating in this or future promotions. An Offer cannot be applied to previous purchases and is not redeemable for cash. You understand that although You initially participated in an Offer as a Friend, You will be considered an Advocate if You share a personalized link with your own Friends.
You understand and agree that these Offer Terms are solely between You and World Changing Me CIC. YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT World Changing Me CIC IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES YOU MAY SUFFER AS A RESULT OF PARTICIPATING IN THE PROGRAM, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO YOUR INABILITY TO OBTAIN OR REDEEM ANY REWARDS.
